BAS Services &/or Support
If you prefer to do your own Bookkeeping, COS Business Solutions can give you that piece of mind of having a trained eye review your work before BAS lodgement or at End of Year before handing over to your Accountant. We can enter those Accountants changes for you after the tax return, assist with the purchase of new Assets or just guidance when you come across those tricky transactions.
We can also help you to Produce and Understand the various Reports that can be produced by your Software, prepare Budgets, Cash flows and BAS. Or perhaps you need a little assistance with a more advanced Word or Excel formula or layout.
Consulting
If you are having trouble with your Accounting Program or just need some Professional advice on Bookkeeping practices, we can assist you in a number of ways. We can help you in our office, remotely or onsite.
Perhaps your problem is just that your needs are now beyond the capabilities of Accounts and you need an extra solution to your existing file. By using one of the many add on solutions available, you can take advantage of a specialised feature/solution and still utilise your staffs existing knowledge and minimise change and disruption.
With recent ATO changes, we are now providing assistance with the ATO portal also. Reckon, Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks On-line (by Intuit) are also part of the range that we support, as well as the Microsoft range, Word, Excel and Outlook.
We can repair incorrectly setup files or if there have been a few mistakes made along the way. Worst case scenario in the event that the file cannot be saved we can advise on the best path going forward. Once a solution is found, our trainer can then show you how to avoid these situations, and guide you on the best way to enter your data according to your business needs.
Training
We provide Bookkeeping Training, Business and Accounting Software Training in various forms, tailored to suit your needs, and on various types of Accounting and Business Software.
We specialise in one-on-one Reckon Accounts Training, which is sort of ad-lib, because we find that the majority of our clients only want to learn what they will use. They come to us with varying ranges of experience also. Most of the time, the training and support is done in stages, we tend to start with basics (invoices, billing, split transactions etc.), then work up to the more complex tasks (Reconciling etc.) until they feel confident in taking it on themselves. More importantly there are the many varied learning styles, and some people struggle with too much informa
tion at any one time.
We provide One-on-One Training in Reckon Accounts, Reckon Accounts Hosted, Reckon One, Reckon Retail Point of Sale, MYOB Essentials, MYOB Accountright, QuickBooks and Xero.
We also provide basic Computer Training and Navigation. Whether it be for Windows 10/11 or just general file Navigation we can assist you in getting to know your way with your new Software.
